About Sean Johnson:

Biography
Sean Johnson is walking proof that miracles still happen. As a young man growing up in the streets of Philadelphia he was shot in the back and paralyzed from the waist down. Through prayer and the audacity of faith, God made the impossible possible and he walked again. He had a second chance at life.
It is from experiences such as this, as well as many others, which gave Sean a seasoned perspective on life; that special spice needed to bring a black and white story to color, to breathe life into a lifeless testimony, to create a miracle in composition where there was a notebook of no hope. His writing has inspired many and has been a blessing to his family, friends and coworkers.
In 2001 he joined the Acts of Faith Drama Ministry at Bethany Baptist Church in Lindenwold, NJ. Writing wasn’t Sean’s only forte. He has graced the spotlight with his comedic and dramatic characters for several years. The range in which he operates is telling of his love and passion for the art of acting, in that there is no limit he will not go to tell the story, to show the picture, to deliver the message.
He ministered in several different roles and grew tremendously as an aspiring minister via the vehicle of dramatic presentation.
In 2004, as a result of his dedication and unique skill set, he was promoted to Assistant Director. As well as being a successful writer and actor, Sean has produced and directed on a level exceeding his leadership’s expectations. As an Asst. Director he dedicated himself to the vision and plan of his Director. He learned the value of being a true leader and prerequisite characteristic of first being a good follower. His new leadership position taught him the importance of cultivating the gifts and talents of those who are passionate about the arts. He passed this passion on as he assisted in the development of actors on a weekly basis. He soon became the Lead Writer, as well, for the ministry.
In 2007 he continued to climb to new heights and was again promoted to Director. In this position, he also maintains the responsibility of Lead Writer and Manager over the ministry’s finances, training and outreach. As the Director he has worked with actors and technical professionals varying in levels of expertise. His directing style is relaxed yet engaging; intense but comfortable. He believes everyone has something special inside them; a contribution to the world that no one else can deliver the same way. He knows it’s his calling to reveal that greatness.
His gift has made a way for him to travel extensively in the region and across the country; even to Africa.
