For gaining tremendous favor at radio this week. 

According to this week’s BDS Report/R&R Chart, Earnest Pugh gained 33 spins to secure the  #5 slot this week.

Earnest Pugh Live: “Rain On Us,” featuring Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Richard Smallwood debuted #2 on billboard and has managed to maintain great chart placement on several of the billboard charts (including Billboard Gospel Charts, Contemporary Christian Music, Independent Music Charts, and also Billboard Top 200 charts). 

According to Kerry Douglas, we (Black Smoke Music) are very proud to see Earnest reap his harvest. He works as hard as the label and is very driven and passionate about reaching the world with his great ministry. I sincerely believe “Rain On Us” is a #1 single and we intend to work hard to get to that place.  

Pugh is nominated for several awards this year to include: Praise & Worship Video of Year for the Gospel Music Channel, and several NAACP Image Awards. Elder Pugh also maintains a very demanding travel itinerary in addition to serving as Director of Praise and Worship at Ebenezer AME Church, Fort Washington, MD along with Gospel Recording Artists: Byron Cage (Minister of Music) and Tye Tribbett under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning, Jr. and Co-Pastor, Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning.
